Exploring Colours

This week our young learners are busy exploring colours.  We experimented with water, food coloring and droppers to see what happens when we mix colours together.

Look at the wonderful colours we made! We compared our colour creations with a paint sample card.

Each child made a picture using their favorite colour crayon.  We sorted the papers on the carpet by colour.  Guess what colour was picked by the most number of children?  PURPLE!

We continued colour mixing during our Super Science Wednesday experiment!  Using our hands was just the best way to mix colours!

We created a science experiment in our classroom to further test colour mixing.  We left our experiment set up overnight and we are excited to see what changes may have occurred when we come to school tomorrow.  What is your prediction?
